What Is Murder Mafia?

Murder Mafia is a free one-button casual browser game developed by Go Panda Games and released in August 2023. You begin each game as an ambitious underling whose only goal is to stab the mafia Don in the back and take his place. Succeed, and the roles reverse: now you are the Don, and everyone walking up behind you is a potential killer.

The Controls

There is only one input in the entire game:

• Desktop: left mouse button
• Mobile: tap the screen

That single button does everything. As the assassin, it is your strike. As the Don, it spins you around to catch traitors in the act. There is no movement to manage — the game walks for you. Your only job is deciding when to press.

Phase One: Kill the Don

Every run starts with you creeping up behind the current Don. Wait for him to look away, then strike. If you attack while he is watching, you will be caught and the run ends. Time it right and you strip him of his suit — along with his power, his bodyguards and his problems.

Phase Two: Survive as the Don

This is where Murder Mafia really begins. As you strut down the corridor, a parade of characters tiptoes up behind you: staff, lovers, family, friends, police officers and worse. When someone raises their arms to strike, stab or shoot, press the button immediately to turn around. Your bodyguards will drag the traitor off to prison.

Here is the twist: not everyone behind you wants you dead. Some characters just want to kiss you. Turn around on an innocent admirer and you will scare off your chance at love — and some of the game's funniest endings.

How a Run Ends

Your run ends when someone finally gets you — or when something unavoidable does. The stampeding parade and the police cannot be stopped by bodyguards at all. Depending on who catches you and how, you unlock a different ending scenario: a romantic dinner, a poisoned meal courtesy of your butler, life in prison, or something far stranger. Collecting every ending is the real long-term goal of the game.

Beginner Tips

• Watch the arms, not the faces — raised arms are the only warning you get.
• Do not spam the button. False accusations have consequences too.
• Learn each character's silhouette so you can react before they even raise their arms.
• Play a few "reckless" runs on purpose to unlock endings you would otherwise miss.
