About Steel Legion
Steel Legion is a physics-based tank battle where the terrain is the real battlefield. You start behind the wheel of a basic Cobra tank, rolling over uneven hills while enemy tanks approach from the opposite side. Every shot is an exercise in trajectory: position your tank on a slope, angle the barrel, account for the arc of the shell and fire. Some enemy tanks are tough enough to need multiple hits, and they are shooting back the whole time.
The hills are not just scenery — they are both your cover and your aiming platform. Park behind a ridge and you can dodge incoming fire while you line up a shot; climb a slope and you change the angle of your gun for plunging fire on enemies below. The game actively rewards using momentum on the hills to dodge or reposition, which turns every skirmish into a little dance of elevation and timing.
Coins and loot drop every time you destroy a tank, and the shop turns them into real power. You can upgrade your armor, gun and engine to handle tougher enemies, and coins also unlock new modes and maps as you progress. The campaign pushes you through stages where the goal is to defeat the Legion itself — the elite squad that guards each map. That upgrade-and-conquer loop gives the physics combat a long-term spine, much like the arsenal progress in Bowmasters and the survival pressure of 20 Minutes Till Dawn.
The controls are old-school simple: move with A/D or the arrow keys, fire with the spacebar and repair your tank with the B key. No download and no install screen — the battlefield opens straight in the tab, and any machine with a browser can join the fight. Matches are short, the restart is quick and the physics make every shot a small lesson in range and elevation — a satisfying, strategic combat game for anyone who likes their explosions to follow the rules of gravity.
